To realize the grand goal of achieving sustainable development in national economy and building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, implement the “Environment First” strategy, quicken the pace in building resource-conserving and environment-friendly society, and fulfill the company’s social accountabilities in energy conservation and emission reduction, we call on all employees to:

　　I. Advocate the energy conservation and emission reduction work:

　　All employees shall be fully aware that to boost the national economy’s sustainable development and fulfill the socialist modernization, it is important for us to treasure resources, protect the environment, save energy, and reduce emission, to reinforce the consciousness of being short of resources and the sense of responsibility, the sense of mission, and the sense of urgency in building a conservation-oriented society, to carry forward the traditional virtue of being diligent and thrifty, to cultivate healthy, civilized, economical, and environmentally-friendly lifestyle, to study and get the hang of knowledge and skill pertaining to energy conservation and emission reduction, and to observe laws and regulations in respect of energy conservation and consumption reduction.

　　II. Practice the energy conservation and emission reduction work:

　　We call on all employees to start from this very moment, from your bit, and from your post to save the electricity, and turn off all lamps and other electrical devices (including computer, printer, and photocopier etc.) when leaving the office. When using the air conditioning, you should keep close the doors and windows. All employees should save water, food, and paper, reduce consumption of office suppliers, and develop a good driving habit. When driving the car, you should press gently the accelerator, avoid using brake if at all possible, stall the engine at idle speed, use the air conditioning sparingly, test tire pressure frequently, and drive in low load. Every department and post should cultivate an atmosphere in which every one saves energy every day.

　　III. Volunteer in the energy conservation and emission reduction work

　　We call on all employees to take “Energy Conservation, Emission Reduction, and Environmental Protection” as their own responsibilities, and spontaneously fulfill the energy conservation and emission reduction. Aside from that, all employees should promote the significance of “Energy Conservation, Emission Reduction, and Environmental Protection” work to their colleagues and friends, and introduce the points concerning energy conservation and emission reduction, in order to motivate more people to spontaneously partake in the energy conservation and emission reduction work.

　　Now, let’s take immediate actions, start from ourselves, and do our bit to make substantial contribution to construction of the resource-conserving and environment-friendly society.
